The TNL-85T model was awarded the "Taiwan Excellence Award."
Established Tongtai Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. to strengthen its sales and after-sales service capabilities in Southeast Asia.
Achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification for the first time.
Expanded its technical cooperation with Hitachi Seiki Co., Ltd. (Japan) to develop the TMH series horizontal machining centers. Concurrently, Tongtai dispatched engineering personnel to Japan for advanced technical training.

Subsidiary Tongyu Machine & Tool Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai, China.

Established the Tongtai Representative Office in Düsseldorf, Germany, to expand its presence in the European market.
Tongtai established its first-ever overseas subsidiary, TongTai Machinery Co., Ltd., in Bangkok, Thailand, to better serve customers in neighboring countries.
