The Tongtai TMV-1350A Vertical Machining Center is applied to heavy-duty machining of large workpieces. Built with a high-rigidity cast iron structure, it features large-scale boxways and a Z-axis counterbalance system to maintain machining stability and geometric precision. The machine provides an X-axis travel of 1,350 mm and a 1,300 kg table load capacity, equipped with a standard BT-50 spindle and a 24-tool magazine. It integrates dual screw conveyors and a centralized maintenance design to optimize production capacity and routine inspection efficiency.

Rigid Boxway Design

The column and base casting is optimized through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure superior static and dynamic rigidity. All three axes feature large-scale boxways, and the Y-axis is supported by a robust four-guideway design, effectively eliminating table overhang deformation during heavy-duty machining of large workpieces.

High-Efficiency Machining

Featuring a standard BT-50 belt-drive spindle, with an optional high-torque gearbox spindle delivering up to 731 Nm to meet low-speed, heavy-duty cutting demands. The roller-cam type tool changer provides stable tool clamping, low noise, and high precision, achieving a rapid Tool-to-Tool (T-to-T) time of 5.1 seconds to help extend spindle operational life.

Efficient Operations

Featuring a wide door opening to facilitate seamless overhead crane loading and large workpiece handling. The system is equipped with dual screw conveyors and a bed flushing system to ensure rapid removal of high-volume chips, complemented by a 90-degree swiveling control panel and centralized maintenance components at the rear-left of the machine to significantly optimize routine inspection efficiency.
