TMTS 2026 Highlight: Ultrasonic-Assisted Machining

The Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TMTS 2026) will take place from March 25–28. One of this year's key highlights is ultrasonic-assisted machining technology. Ultrasonic-assisted cutting effectively reduces machining resistance while minimizing common issues such as burr formation, chipping, and material loss when processing hard and brittle materials, including ceramics, quartz, and silicon carbide. The VU-5 Vertical Machining Center is specifically designed for semiconductor applications. At the exhibition, Tongtai will present an automated silicon carbide (SiC) machining workflow, demonstrating enhanced efficiency and greater process stability.

We invite you to visit the Tongtai booth and explore the latest advancements in high-efficiency precision machining.
